Greening the Supply & Purchasing Chain Roundtable Discussion
On Tuesday, November 13, 2007, David Boyle represented NAPCO at the "Greening the Supply & Purchasing Chain Rountable Discussion" at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. This event was hosted by the Chlorine Free Products Association whose focus lies in promoting sustainable manufacturing, implementing advanced technologies free of chlorine chemistry, educating consumers on alternatives, and developing world markets for sustainably produced third party certified products and services.

This event was a benefit both through education, idea sharing and networking with others in different industries with similar goals. We will share more information about this event in the near future.

Natural State Expo

On Saturday, October 13, 2007, NAPCO participated in the
2nd Annual Natural State Expo
at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, Arkansas

We feel that this was a great event and look forward to participating in it again in the years to come.  The opportunity to network with individuals, organizations and businesses that are forward thinking in terms of environmental responsibilty was invaluable to our goals.

The Natural State Expo is a free admission event that celebrates and promotes community resources for sustainability. From grease-burning fuels and solar energy to local food and green building, the Natural State Expo showcases the sustainable side of Arkansas.
This 2007 event featured a special educational component, "Innovation Alley Eco-Science Fair," where youth showcased projects on topics such as wind energy, beekeeping, water conservation and more!

We took this opportunity to showcase some of our new and near future environmentally friendly product offerings and programs.  From our current line of towels, tissue & napkins to compostable cutlery and drinking cups made from fully renewable resources.
